Friday after Thanksgiving we went over to my parents so Nolan and Anna could finally meet. As you can see we were still in the holiday spirit.

Anna was the hit of the Thanksgiving holiday - everyone was taking their turns at holding her. She was surprisingly quiet as she was passed around ... until we went home then she wanted to be up at night - good thing we re-ordered the cable. (notice Pa finally showed up in a photo with Anna)

Weekend of visiting and learning new tricks...

Saturday, Anna learned how to drink from a bottle and today she figured out how to help mommy out during the day. Anna had her first go at being carried around in the Baby Bjorn carrier. How will this help you ask ? ...now Erika will have two hands free during the times when Anna just wants to be held. Erika , Ricki and myself all tried on the baby carrier - it is actually comfortable. Sarah and Oliver stopped by to visit on their way back from a wedding. Anna has changed a lot since they first met (in the hospital) one thing is still the same - Anna's wild hair. Sean , Darlene and Jackson the dog came for a visit - their first meeting. Sean was a pro at calming the baby. Next time Jackson comes over we nee a saddle for rides.

It's my birthday and I'll cry if I want to

Today is Anna's one month birthday. To celebrate she had bath and her first bottle!! The day wasn't all fun - she had her moments of fussing and crying but hey she is just a baby .

A little fresh air...

Even though the cold mountain air was very refreshing. We spent most of our time indoors visiting our NH side of the family.

Trip to Gorham

Anna made her way up to Gorham this past weekend to meet her Grandmothers. We had a good time visting Nana and Memere. They both were impressed by the amount of hair on Anna.

Getting ready for first NH visit

Anna is making her maiden voyage to the north country this weekend. We are headed up to Gorham NH for the long weekend. Anna tried out her new pack and play and it looks like a good fit.

Family and friends , new and old

Anna had more visitor's last weekend (11/4). Anna met Will Burke for the first time.

My blogging really had a dramatic slow down once I went back to work. I vow to all of the devoted Scotika fans to keep the postings coming. Maybe I'll try to squeeze some posting time at work...

1st day back

People from my department here at KSG helped spread the word of Anna's arrival. It was nice to see this when I walked into the office today. They also posted signs after Erika and I were married too. Even the sign from the Yankee fan was a welcomed sight this morning.

Visitors from Conneticut

Erika's aunt Diane and uncle Glen from Connecticut stopped by to meet Anna. Justin and Nadine came for the visit too. Knowing that so many guests were scheduled to stopped by I styled her hair after her bath. By the time people arrived her hair was wild. Shortly after her company left Anna fell right asleep. I guess being the center of attention is tiring job.

First (nonplay)play date

Jon ,Kerri and Evie stopped by to meet Anna. It was good to see Jon and Kerri and introduce Evie and Anna - future good friends. Anna slept through their first play-date. Anna is so much smaller than her 5 month old friend but then again I am much smaller than Jon.
