Marathon Monday

Gail joined us Monday to watch the Boston Marathon. We were there to cheer on Gail's co-worker and Erika's cousin Kelly. We were able to see both runners. Anna slept for most of the race. Erika had to cross the running path to make it over to the portable ladies room ... perfect chance for a picture...

Weekend visitors

Nicole and Addison stopped by this weekend. Anna and Addison haven't seen each other since Christmas. Nicole and Addison were down to go to the Boston Marathon to cheer on Kelly.

Nice stretch of weather .... We are finally able to try out Anna's sun hats.

Erika, Anna and I were relaxing Sunday before going to the church. We knew we had a busy day ahead. Erin and Matt are Anna's Godparents. Richard and Billy hanging out with the guest of honor at the party.

Anna's Christening

Anna wore a dress made from her great- grandmother's wedding dress. Anna look beautiful. She was so well behaved at the church. Erika and I thought she would scream when the water hit her ... to our delight she actual enjoyed it.

Spring fever

Anna and I enjoyed some nice spring air last night. The fresh air felt nice -being outdoors gave Anna a lot of new things to look at. We had a house guest this week - Sunny the dog stayed over while my parents were in the Florida Keys. At first Anna couldn't figure out what this big stuffed animal was doing at the house but she and Sunny hit it off and are great friends now. Every time the dog goes near Anna her arms and legs flutter and she giggles ... maybe a dog of her own some day.

Almost there

Anna is trying hard to sit up by herself. We have to prop her up with pillows or cushions but before we know it she will be sitting on her own. She just started to roll this past week. Erika and her mom have witnessed Anna rolling a few times- I'm still waiting to see her do it, close but no cigar.

Hair do or hair don't

Erika tried to style Anna's hair in a new different hip style. This is the comb forward.
