New Year's Eve in Chelsea

We took a trip to Chelsea to Sarah and Oliver's house for new year's eve early dinner. Erika's high school friend, Alex, was visiting from DC with her husband David, and their son Henry, who is two months older than Anna. They had fun playing together--as you can see, Henry really took a liking to Anna!

New Year's walk

Nana and Pa joined us for a walk on New Year's morning. We enjoyed the trails in the Maynard conservation land. Nana had one eye opened for coyotes but thankfully we didn't see any.

Christmas in NH

We had a great week in NH celebrating with everyone up there. We had Christmas dinner at Memere's, and then dinner at the T and C the next night. We tried sledding, but Anna wasn't into it; did some shopping; Anna had some good old-fashioned fun jumping on the bed in the basement with Addison.

We celebrated Christmas Eve at Nana and Pa's house, with Matt, Erin, and the kids too. We had a nice dinner, and great presents. Anna enjoyed hanging with her cousins.

O Christmas Tree

We got our Christmas tree this year on the coldest, wettest weekend of December. Meemee came down to help us decorate. She protected Anna from the terrible Santa and life-size Elmo at Season's Four, the place we bought our tree. Anna was petrified of both! She told me, "Santa is a nice guy, Mom" but not in person!

Unfortunately this ornament was too heavy for our tree...
